Andy Zaayenga has over 30 years of experience in business development and consulting within the life sciences sector, focusing on laboratory automation for drug discovery and biobanking. Currently, Andy serves as the Managing Director of SmarterLab and has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Business Development at HighRes Biosolutions and founder of TekCel. In addition to their professional endeavors, Andy has significantly contributed to several organizations, including serving as Past President of the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories and as a Board Director for the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening. Andy continues to engage with the academic community as an Editorial Board Member for several journals.
