Bryan Lowder is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles, currently serving as Associate Editor at Slate Magazine since September 2011. Lowder specializes in the Human Interest section and oversees the "Outward" LGBTQ vertical. Previously, Lowder co-founded the Outward section and contributed to various culture topics, including music and film. Educationally, Lowder holds an M.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Cultural Reporting and Criticism from New York University and a B.A. in Music and English from Columbia University.
