Dan Check

Dan Check is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Since June 2010, Dan has served as Chief Executive Officer, Vice Chairman, and Vice President of Engineering & Product Development at Slate Magazine. Prior to this role, Dan worked at The Washington Post from 2009 to September 2010 as a Senior Software Engineer at Wapo Labs. Dan also held the position of Director of Pipeline at Catalist from February 2006 to December 2008 and was a Software Developer at @radical.media from February 2002 to July 2005. Dan's early career included a role as Internet Director for Gifford Miller's mayoral campaign in 2005. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Pomona College, obtained between 1997 and 2001.
