Andy K. is the owner of Slater’s 50/50 Las Vegas. They also serve on the Board of Trustees for the Nevada Employees Savings Trust, appointed to help establish a state-wide retirement savings program for private sector employees. They earned a Hotel Administration degree from UNLV and an MBA from USC. Previously, they worked as an Analyst at Wynn Resorts (2008–2013) and as Corporate Director of Business Intelligence at Boyd Gaming (2014–2021), and they opened the first Slater's 50/50 location in Las Vegas in 2018. Their restaurants have earned accolades including Best of Vegas: Best Burger Joint and Best Beer List, Yelp’s Most Outrageous Milkshakes 2022, and Food Insider’s 50 State Favorite Burgers: Nevada; in 2021, their Whale Burger won Netflix Original 'Fresh, Fried, and Crispy'.
