Chad Gilmer is an experienced scientist and technical leader currently serving as the RD&E Group Leader at SLB, where they lead a team focused on flow assurance related to hydrates and asphaltenes. Previously, Chad worked as a Lead Chemist at ChampionX and held the title of Principal Chemist at Nalco Champion, where they developed and synthesized innovative chemical solutions for various oil and gas applications. Chad is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Iowa while also holding a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Augsburg University.
