Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith is an accomplished geoscientist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Serving as Domain Integration Lead and Senior Geoscientist at Schlumberger from 2017 to 2020, Daniel played a crucial role in transforming exploration strategies in the Gulf of Mexico by leading regional play evaluations and prospect maturation initiatives. Previous positions include Senior Geophysicist in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, where Daniel specialized in advanced depth imaging, and Project Manager during a collaboration with Aramco, focusing on subsurface modeling techniques. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from University College Cork and a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London, Daniel has consistently driven innovation in geological assessments and resource evaluation.
