David Gomez Ramirez

David Gomez Ramirez, Ph.D., serves as a Technology Manager at Schlumberger, where they manage and support downhole equipment essential for oil production. They have a strong background in mechanical design, simulation technologies, and Verification & Validation testing. David completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where their research focused on heat transfer, gas composition, and flow characterization using advanced measurement techniques. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science in Atmospheric Sciences from Hampton University and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechatronics and Automation Engineering from both Tecnológico de Monterrey and Fachhochschule Esslingen.
