Erin Temple is an experienced chemist with a focus on scale inhibition in the oilfield industry. Beginning a career at Diageo as a Lab Assistant, Erin progressed through various roles, including a Summer Placement at Champion Technologies and a position as a Marine Environmental Chemist at Marine Scotland Science. Erin joined Nalco Champion as a Development Chemist in June 2014, where expertise in qualifying scale inhibitors for offshore applications was developed. Following that, Erin advanced to ChampionX as a Senior Chemist, specializing in sulphide scale inhibition. In September 2021, Erin took on the role of Oilfield Chemist at ClearWELL Oilfield Solutions, and currently serves as Scale and Hydrates Manager at SLB, a position assumed in April 2023. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Forensic and Analytical Science from The Robert Gordon University, obtained in 2013.
