Fernando Caldera

Fernando Caldera is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as an Artificial Lift - ESP Field Specialist at SLB since September 2022. Previously, Fernando held positions at ChampionX as a Field Operations Specialist and was involved in well-service operations. Earlier in his career, Fernando worked with Corpoelec (Enelven) as an Engineering Intern, where duties included troubleshooting electrical fault protection equipment, and served as a Professor at Instituto Nacional de Capacitación y Educación (INCES), teaching electrical circuits, mathematics, and physics. Fernando gained additional experience as a Service Engineer and Electrical Engineer at Tradequip c.a., managing client relationships and overseeing the installation and commissioning of generators for PDVSA. Fernando earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta between 2005 and 2011.
