Florian Hollaender

Research Program Manager

Florian Hollaender is a reservoir engineer with over 20 years of experience specializing in reservoir characterization, well testing, and flow metering. They have held various roles at Schlumberger, most recently as a Scientific Advisor, where they provided technical support and developed new technologies related to multiphase flow metering. Florian also served as a Schlumberger Chair Professor at United Arab Emirates University, teaching dynamic reservoir evaluation techniques. Currently, they focus on developing solutions for geological carbon storage and geothermal energy. Florian earned a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London and a degree in Earth Sciences with a minor in Energy from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.
