James Armstrong

James Armstrong, P.E., is a highly skilled and versatile mechanical and robotics engineer currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at SLB, focusing on down hole tools. With previous experience as a Robotics Engineer at NOV, they contributed to the development and testing of robotic systems, while also holding positions at Baker Hughes as a Mechanical Engineer and RDD Engineer III. James has a strong background in animation design from their earlier role at KSAT12, where they created motion graphics and virtual sets for newscasts. They earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University.
