James Dolan is an experienced Advisor Petrophysicist currently working at SLB, having held a principal role at Schlumberger from 2014 to 2021. Previously, James served in various senior positions at Schlumberger, including Senior Well Placement Engineer and LWD Domain Champion, specializing in geosteering horizontal wells across Europe, Africa, and other regions. With a strong background in well placement and petrophysical data interpretation, James coordinated MWD jobs at Scientific Drilling before advancing to leadership roles. James earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Victoria University of Wellington, completing studies in the mid-1990s.
