Lei Zhou is currently a Principal Well Control at SLB, a position held since 2021. They previously served as a Well Control Engineer at BP from 2012 to 2021 and were a Principal Consultant at SPT Group from 2004 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Production Engineer at China National Petroleum Company between 1996 and 1999. Lei obtained a Master’s degree in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and completed a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Tulsa.
