Leonardo Marquez

Leonardo Marquez is the Managing Director at Shaya Ecuador, S.A. (an SLB company) and has over 31 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. They lead innovative projects, including Ecuador's largest waterflood initiative and the country's first autonomous well pad. In previous roles at SLB, Leonardo served as a Senior Reservoir Engineer and managed a variety of production projects across the Americas. They hold multiple degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Business Management and have contributed to numerous publications in their field. Currently, Leonardo is focused on asset stewardship, digital transformation, and sustainability in oil production.
