Majd Khalaf

Majd Khalaf is an experienced professional currently serving as the Global Category Manager for Field Direct & Logistics Categories at SLB since December 2007. Khalaf has held various leadership roles within the company, including Australasia Head of Supply Chain and Sustainability Champion, overseeing procurement and distribution across multiple countries in the region. Prior positions include Procurement & Sourcing Manager and Materials Manager for Australasia, along with roles as Operations Planning Manager and Resource Planning Manager for different regions. Khalaf began a career in the oilfield services sector as a Wireline field engineer and advanced through various technical and managerial positions. Prior to SLB, Khalaf worked as an Automation Engineer at Consolidated Contractors International Company. Khalaf's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Engineering Management from the American University of Beirut, as well as recent professional development in Sustainability and Circular Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Exeter Business School.
