Mark Yan

Mark (Xu) Yan is currently a Geothermal Digital Manager at SLB, where they lead a geographically distributed backend infrastructure team focused on delivering reliable API products. They have a rich background in software engineering, having previously held roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Architect at Schlumberger. Mark holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Houston and has experience as a Research Assistant at both Hunan University and the University of Houston. They have a strong academic foundation in Electrical Engineering, earning both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Hunan University.
