Marwan Altom

Marwan Altom is an experienced professional in the petroleum engineering field, currently serving as an ALS Field Specialist at SLB since July 2024, where responsibilities include managing all ESP field activities such as rigging in, rigging out, commissioning, troubleshooting, and monitoring. Prior to this role, Marwan worked as an ESP Sr. ALS Field Services Engineer at Alkhorayef Petroleum Company from January 2015 to January 2025, and as a Wireline Engineer at China National Petroleum Corporation, focusing on wireline logging and perforating techniques from January 2013 to June 2015. Marwan's career began with internships at the Oil Exploration and Production Authority and Petroleum Data Center. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering from George Brown College and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Khartoum.
