Matei Ţene

Matei Ţene is a Senior HPC Software Engineer at SLB, where they focus on intersect fracture modeling and GenAI assistants. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Delft University of Technology, Matei has developed expertise in High-Performance Computing (HPC), Data Science, and Cloud Computing. They previously interned at Chevron and TNO, contributing to projects in compositional reservoir simulation and history matching. Matei’s goal is to transition into a strategic role involving product and project management, leveraging their diverse skills in software engineering and algorithms.
