Matthew Maines has over a decade of experience in the cementing industry, currently serving as the PSD business line manager for cementing in the Gulf of Mexico at SLB since September 2013. Previous roles at SLB include service delivery manager for cementing well services, design and technical engineer, and operations support engineer, where responsibilities involved ensuring the design and execution of cement jobs met client specifications in shallow and deep water. Early in his career, Matthew worked as a cementing field engineer in New York and as a PREP fellow at NIST, focusing on data analysis for chemical properties. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, obtained in 2013.
