Michael Beam is an experienced software architect and UX design team lead currently serving as the Experience Studio Lead at SLB's Houston Digital Technology Hub. They previously held the position of Frontend Architect and UX Design Team Lead, where they managed the UX design team for SLB's cloud seismic processing and imaging platform. Before this, Michael worked as a Sr. Software Architect at SLB, contributing to the development of best practices for frontend applications. Their career began as a Software Engineer at GeoCenter LP and included significant roles at ION Geophysical, where they were the principal architect of the seismic data processing environment, Galaxy. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Astronomy, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
