Michelle Ellis is a Senior Rock Physicist at Schlumberger since October 2019, specializing in the investigation and development of new rock physics algorithms for improved reservoir characterization. Previously, Michelle worked as a Rock Physics Consultant from February 2019 to October 2019 and served as a Research Rock Physicist & Product Owner at Rock Solid Images from 2010 to December 2018. Additional experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Marine Geophysics at the National Oceanography Centre (2009-2010) and conducting research for the Hydrocarbon Pocket Mapping project at the University of Southampton (2007-2009). Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Marine Geophysics (Rock Physics) and a BSc in Geology, both from the University of Southampton.
