Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a focus on developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Current responsibilities include creating hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, as a Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools for similar products. Prior experience includes working as an Electronics Contractor at MindFuel.ca, designing and repairing educational devices, serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, and contributing to control systems for forestry equipment at Grindcom. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
