Roberto Silva is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in directional drilling and mud logging. Starting as a Mud Logger & Data Engineer at Geoservices from 1987 to 1994, Roberto honed skills in various Brazilian basins before working at Halliburton in a similar capacity from 1995 to 1996. Roberto then transitioned to Schlumberger, where roles included PERForm Engineer, MWD/LWD Engineer, and Senior Directional Driller Specialist, contributing significantly to drilling optimization and monitoring in offshore projects with Petrobras and Shell. As a Directional Driller Consultant from 2015 to 2018, Roberto leveraged expertise in drilling campaigns. Roberto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, completed in 1986.
