Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is a Mechanical Engineer at Schlumberger, where they have worked since 2017. In their current role, they developed the XLTRC 2 - Torsion for analyzing torsional vibration characteristics and designed various high-performance valves and actuators. Prior to this, Ryan served as a Mechanical Technician at Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies and as an Operator at Schlumberger, focusing on maintenance of rotating equipment. Ryan earned a Master's degree in Chemical Process Technology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
