Simon Harris is a highly experienced Principal Geologist and Gridding and Modelling Expert at Schlumberger, serving since April 2015. In this role, Simon contributes to the development of advanced Petrel structural models and grids, notably the innovative depogrid for geomodelling and simulation. Prior to Schlumberger, Simon spent nearly two decades as the Head of Software Development Group at RDR Ltd, where accomplishments included the launch of the first fully-integrated Petrel module from an external source and the development of specialized software for structural geology. Simon holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Leeds, earned between 1990 and 1994.
