Smail Ben

Smail Ben is a seasoned oil and gas industry professional with over 22 years of experience at M-I SWACO SLB, primarily in various roles across West and North Africa. Currently serving as the EAF Operations Planning Manager, Smail has demonstrated proficiency in managing complex operations with a P&L responsibility of up to $120 million annually. Previously, they have held positions such as North Africa Regional Manager and Area Manager, leading successful initiatives in deep-water operations and technical services. Smail's international experience includes significant contributions across six countries, collaborating with both international and national oil companies. They hold a DEA in Electronics and Computer Science from the Algerian Computer Institute.
