Son Phan

Son Phan is a Senior Data Scientist at SLB, where they employ machine learning algorithms to analyze geophysical measurements related to subsurface changes. Previously, they worked as a Geophysicist at Bien Dong POC, conducting detailed reservoir interpretations and reserve calculations. Son also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, engaging in projects focused on seismic inversion and CO2 sequestration. They earned a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of Texas at Austin and hold multiple degrees, including a Master's in Geophysics and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Geosciences from the University of Tulsa.
