Stephen Mason is a Senior Technical Advisor in Drilling Solutions at M-I SWACO, Schlumberger, where they have worked since 2011, focusing on Drilling & Completion Fluids, Lost Circulation Control Solutions, and Wellbore Strengthening Solutions. Prior to this, from 2007 to 2011, they served as a Fluids Technical Advisor at Schlumberger Reservoir Completions, specializing in upstream asset development and maintenance. Earlier in their career, Stephen contributed to the development of the Fluid & Debris Test System, which allowed for comprehensive testing of downhole tools. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1974.
