Stephen Welch is a highly experienced Senior Deepwater Drilling Fluids Engineer with over 30 years in the oil and gas industry, following a four-year service with the United States Marine Corps. They have successfully completed numerous high-profile ultra-deepwater projects worldwide, primarily with Halliburton/Baroid and MI-SWACO, showcasing expert knowledge in drilling various well types. Stephen has held leadership roles, including the Project Coordinator for Statoil’s Plataforma Deltana project in Venezuela, and provided mentorship to over 100 new fluid engineers throughout their career. Currently residing in Tampa, Florida, Stephen continues to engage in complex drilling operations and is open to new projects.
