Tom van Ast

Tom van Ast is currently a District Manager at SLB, where they lead a diverse team to deliver value through production chemicals to over 40 customers across Continental Europe. They started their career at Nalco Champion as a Technical Support Engineer, advancing to roles such as Account Manager and Area Manager, where they focused on innovation and customer solutions in the oil and gas industry. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Saxion Hogeschool Enschede, complemented by practical experience gained during internships at the University of Twente. Their work reflects a dual passion for both the oil & gas sector and sustainable energy initiatives.
