Vikas Jain

Vikas Jain is a petrophysics leader and AI/ML expert with over 21 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently, Vikas serves as the Well Construction Domain Head - Petrophysics at SLB, after recently holding the position of Artificial Intelligence Business Development Manager for Americas Land at Schlumberger. Vikas has developed significant intellectual property in fields such as machine learning and data analytics, with over 40 publications and 25 patents. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and completed a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at The University of Texas at Austin in 2022.
