Walid Abufis has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Quality Champion, RPS PSD Manager, and Reservoir Performance Stimulation Sales Lead at SLB since March 2021. Prior to this role, Walid worked at Schlumberger from June 2012 to October 2020, holding positions such as Fracturing Job Delivery Lead, Europe Operation Planning Resource Management Asset and Material & Supplies Coordinator, General Field Engineer, and Fracturing Engineer, focusing on the delivery of fracturing jobs across Continental Europe. Walid began a career in the field at Schlumberger as a Junior Field Engineer from December 2008 to March 2010, where responsibilities included the execution of fracturing operations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tripoli (2011-2015), and technical training in Hydraulic Fracturing and Reservoir Engineering in the USA and Russia. Walid also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tripoli (2001-2008).
