Walid Labaky

Walid Labaky, Ph.D., has over two decades of experience in hydrogeology and business development, primarily with SLB since August 2005. Current roles include Concept Solutions Engineering Manager and Global Business Development Manager for Produced Water, focusing on project opportunities in GCC countries and pioneering technology implementations. Previous positions at SLB encompassed responsibilities in project management and technical supervision, with a strong focus on the UAE region. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Waterloo, where groundbreaking work on groundwater measurement tools was performed, and as a Hydrogeologist with Brown & Root, overseeing various hydrogeological activities. Education includes a Ph.D. and Master's in Hydrogeology from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor's in Geology from the American University of Beirut.
