William Brouwer

William Brouwer is a computational physicist with extensive experience in high-performance computing, particularly in GPU and cloud applications across various domains, including physics and computer vision. They began their career at SLB, where they worked on microseismic monitoring and developed HPC solutions, eventually rising to the role of Principal HPC Engineer. With a PhD in physics from The College of William and Mary, they have also held positions at Q Bio and Stone Ridge Technology, contributing significantly to software development and cloud orchestration. William has been recognized for their expertise in CUDA and has provided leadership and support in the HPC community, actively engaging in education and research initiatives.
