Dawn Prentice has extensive work experience in the field of behavioral health and integrated care. Dawn began their career as a Family Advocate at Catholic Social Services in 2004 and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they served as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Crider Health Center, where they collaborated with Primary Care Providers and patients to address behavioral health issues and promote patient goals. In 2011, they joined St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute as an Associate Director of Integrated Care, working primarily with medical students and residents to promote mental health and provide appropriate treatment services. Dawn also served as an Integrated Care Consultant, providing trainings and consultation for integrating behavioral health into primary care clinics. In 2017, Dawn became the Director of Integrated Care and Health Psychology at St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute, and in 2020, they assumed the role of Director of Clinical Operations.

Dawn Prentice completed their Bachelor of Social Work degree from Missouri State University, attending from 1998 to 2001. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Social Work degree from the same institution, graduating in 2002. Dawn'seducation focused on the field of Social Work.
