Douglas Morrison

Douglas Morrison is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Built Environment – Smarter Transformation, where they support the mission to accelerate the transition to a net zero built environment. With extensive experience in the tertiary education sector, they have held various leadership roles, including Chairperson at South Lanarkshire College and Director of Operations and Future Skills at Construction Scotland Innovation Centre. Douglas is passionate about digital learning, innovation, environmental issues, and equity and inclusion, and is actively involved in multiple committees and groups related to skills development and climate action. They hold a range of educational qualifications, including an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and various leadership certificates from the University of Oxford.
