Ryan Gresback

Ryan Gresback is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and materials reliability, currently serving as the Lighting Materials & Reliability Development Manager at SLD Laser since July 2018. Prior to this role, Ryan held positions as a Research Scientist at Cree from March 2014 to June 2018, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for a brief period in 2014. Ryan's academic background includes postdoctoral research at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, complemented by a PhD in Mechanical and Control Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, Ryan earned both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where a strong foundation in engineering was established from 2003 to 2010.
