Ray Yang has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ray worked as a Lighting Artist at Sledgehammer Games starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Visualisation Designer at General Motors from January 2013 to May 2020. In this role, they provided CGI images and photo retouching for GM brands and supported internal design activities. From December 2011 to January 2013, they worked as a Visualization Consultant at Orange Charcoal Pty Ltd. Ray also served as a Senior Architectural Visualization Artist at their own company, Ray Yang, from April 2011 to February 2012. Before that, they worked as a Senior Simulation Content Modeller at QinetiQ from September 2010 to May 2011, creating 3D models for training software and external clients. Ray started their career as a Lead Artist at Krome Studios from August 2003 to September 2010, where they worked on various game titles and managed art teams. Additionally, they briefly worked as a 2D Texture & Concept Artist at Big Ant Studios in March-May 2003.
Ray Yang completed a Master's degree in Multimedia Design from Monash University from 2002 to 2003.
