Alex Viteri has over 25 years of experience in marketing, brand, and strategy. In 1995, they began their career as a Marketing & Promotions Manager with Warner Bros. Studio Stores. Alex then moved to the Walt Disney Company as a Marketing Manager for Disney Network Licensing, where they launched the ESPN and X Games brands at retail. In 1999, they became the Director of Public Relations for Miadora and Jewelry.com, where they created brand awareness among consumers, the fashion industry, and the investor community. In 2000, they were the Director of Marketing Strategy for Found, Inc., where they created the company's marketing strategy and positioned Found's ICaM Solution. In 2002, they were the Director of Sales Promotion for J. Jill, where they created and implemented the retail marketing strategy. In 2006, they joined Macy's as the Vice President of Merchandise Marketing and VP of Marketing for Macy's Home, where they collaborated with 7 operating divisions and macys.com to execute the newly centralized Macy's Home marketing strategy. In 2012, they founded Viteri Consulting Services, where they helped companies define their opportunity, differentiate their brands, and tell their story. Alex then served as a product, marketing, and business development advisor for several start-ups. In 2016, they were recruited by L Catterton as Interim CMO for Bliss, where they helped reposition the Bliss brand with a refreshed product architecture and new distribution channels, audiences, and pricing structure. Finally, in 2019, they became the Chief of Strategy & Engagement for Sleek Machine, a creatively-driven, purpose-built agency helping brands outsmart, outhustle, outmaneuver and outperform their competitors.

Alex Viteri received a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley and graduated from Loyola High School of Los Angeles.
