Kevin McLaughlin

Kevin McLaughlin has a diverse work experience. Kevin started in 2017 with a research intern role at Queen's University Belfast, where they worked on exploring the use of haptics in virtual reality. Kevin also built 3D environments in Unity for various peripherals to provide haptic feedback. In 2018, they worked as an intern at Infosys, focusing on projects related to meeting domain speaker diarization using unsupervised machine learning techniques. Kevin then joined Queen's University Belfast again as a research intern, supporting various projects, including building a robot farm and a robotic arm. In 2018, they also worked as an extra for seasons 2, 3, and 8 of Game of Thrones. Most recently, they have been working at Slice, initially as a data scientist and currently as a senior data scientist.

Kevin McLaughlin attended Queen's University Belfast from 2016 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Imperial College London from 2009 to 2011 to study Physics.
