Patricia Hamilton

Patricia Hamilton has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Patricia currently works at Slice as a Senior Software Engineer, where they began in October 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Slice starting in April 2021. Before joining Slice, Patricia worked at TP ICAP as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2020 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing, delivering, and deploying web application features, utilizing technologies such as Typescript, React, React Testing Library, and Ramda. Patricia also applied BDD, scrum methodologies, and facilitated knowledge transfer within the team. Patricia's previous experience includes roles at Allstate Northern Ireland, where they worked as a Senior and Software Engineer from August 2019 to April 2020. During this time, they maintained and enhanced a timekeeping application, utilizing React, web services, and SQL, and implemented solutions for data accuracy and efficiency. Patricia also worked on remediating legacy invoicing processes and provided support for HR, Finance, and Workforce Solutions. Patricia was a Senior Consultant at Allstate Northern Ireland from September 2009 to September 2016, where they played a key role in implementing SuccessFactors Modules for HR enterprise management and supported integrations between legacy systems and SuccessFactors. Patricia also worked as a Web Developer and Software Developer at Allstate Northern Ireland, gaining experience in full-stack development using technologies such as VB6, ASP, MSSQL, XML, Clientsoft, AS400, Java, Websphere, and C#. Patricia began their career as a Research and Development Engineer at Randox in July 1997.

Patricia Hamilton earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry from Queen's University Belfast, completing their studies from 1994 to 1997.
