Philip Murphy

Philip Murphy has worked as a Data Engineer at Slice since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at CME Group from July 2017 to April 2021.

Philip Murphy has a diverse education history. In 2003, they completed their second level education at Kilkenny College and obtained their Leaving Cert. From 2008 to 2012, they attended Waterford Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering. In 2015, Philip pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Enterprise at University College Dublin. Continuing their education, from 2016 to 2017, they attended the Institute of Technology, Carlow, where they completed a Higher Diploma in Computer Science.

Alongside their formal education, Philip Murphy has also obtained several certifications. In April 2017, they achieved the Java Foundation Junior Associate certification from Oracle. Philip further expanded their knowledge in the field by becoming an AWS Certified Developer - Associate in June 2018 and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in July 2018, both certifications obtained from Amazon Web Services. Most recently, in February 2019, Philip earned the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification.
