Akshay Mathur

Akshay Mathur is an experienced software engineer with a focus on Android development. Currently serving as SDE-3 at Slice since February 2024, Akshay previously held the position of Engineering Lead at Unacademy from June 2021 to February 2024, where Akshay led the development of a self-paced learning app tailored for UPSC and CAT aspirants. Prior to Unacademy, Akshay worked as a Mobile Engineer at Smallcase, contributing to the Tickertape App, and as a Software Engineer at TP-Link Research America Corp., focusing on the Kasa Smart Home App. Akshay's career began at Infosys, where responsibilities included system engineering in Apple's IS&T division. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University, a bootcamp in Android Development from CodePath, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jaypee University of Information Technology.
