Shishir Mittal

Shishir Mittal is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at slice since April 2025, Shishir is focused on building a digital-first bank. Prior to this role, Shishir held positions at Razorpay as a Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager from September 2021 to December 2024. As Director of Engineering at Ubona from June 2020 to August 2021, Shishir designed cloud infrastructure for scalable solutions and managed the launch of the BFSI sector’s first Cloud Contact Center. At UltraCash from October 2016 to May 2020, Shishir led the development of a Credit Rating Engine that reduced bounce rates and created an online loan processing system. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Analyst at Ubona Technologies from July 2011 to September 2016, where Shishir built a Recommendation Engine that significantly increased revenue. Shishir holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), completed in January 2010.
