Chris Payne

Chris Payne has had a diverse work experience since 2018. Chris began their career at Amazon Logistics as a Delivery Associate, where they performed deliveries throughout the greater Nashville area as a seasonal Amazon Delivery Associate with 0 accidents and was a top performer in safety, delivery rate and customer satisfaction. Chris then moved on to become a Yard Marshal, where they coordinated the dispatch of as many as 600 delivery vehicles per day, while also coordinating dock door and trailer assignments for arriving and departing line hauls and vendor deliveries. Chris maintained a perfect safety record in this role and was involved in transforming the daily dispatch from being chaotic, unorganized, and constantly late to well-organized, on-time and safe while adhering to COVID-19 mitigation protocols, once they became required. Most recently, in 2021, Chris began working at SlickText as a Senior Product Consultant. In this role, they provided onboarding and professional services to new or expanding users, provided sales engineering support to account executives, and oversaw the weekly webinar series for new customers.

Chris Payne attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mass Communication.
