SLiDE is a program within the new Social Innovation Lab at Algonquin College that helps community-based organizations in Ottawa innovate business practices and systems by using digital technology and student initiative. The social innovation lab serves as a conceptualization and development space in which faculty, students and social sector clients (including not for profits, charities, and social enterprise) can ideate, develop, test and initiate digital technology-based solutions to address social challenges.
