Allan Boruchowicz is the Founder and Managing Partner of Carao Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San José, Costa Rica, established in September 2012, focusing on investments and support for top founders and startups in Spanish-speaking Latin America. Allan holds the position of Kauffman Fellow from June 2022 and has served as a board member for multiple companies, including Fibrazo, Huli, Banco BCT, Speratum, Slidebean, BîldTEK, and Megabite. Allan's prior experience includes a board membership at Seguros LAFISE Costa Rica from September 2013 to June 2017. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, and Economics from Babson College, complemented by studies in Corporate Finance and International Economics at Esade and a summer program at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
