Luke Spence is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in machine learning, natural language processing, and business intelligence. Currently a Senior Data Scientist at Sliide since September 2025, Luke previously held the same title at PEI from September 2021 to August 2025, leading data science projects that improved sales and customer retention. Luke's background also includes serving as a BI Analyst & Data Engineer at PEI, where business intelligence dashboards were created to track performance metrics and identify growth opportunities. Earlier experience as an Operations Analyst at the Financial Ombudsman Service involved forecasting and planning to align operational goals with performance indicators. Luke holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Queen Mary University of London, graduating with Distinction in 2021.
