End User Services Engineer Tier 2 at Slipstream IT

Jon Patrick Ruff has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jon Patrick started their career as a Tier 1 & 2 ISP Help Desk Support Agent at CALL TECH COMMUNICATIONS in 2001, providing inbound support to dial-up customers. After that, Jon worked at Verizon TeleProducts as a Customer Service Representative and later as a Call Center Operations Management Group Lead, overseeing night time call center operations and handling escalated supervisor phone calls.

Jon then joined Broadview Networks as a Data Repair Help Desk Technician, troubleshooting internet browsers, POP email clients, Cisco Routers, DSL lines, T-1 lines, and dial-up accounts. At Line Systems Inc, they worked as a Customer Service Rep, assisting customers with troubleshooting POTS, T1 and DSL circuits, LAN/WAN connectivity issues, long-distance call issues, voice mailbox issues, and password resets for email and voicemail.

In 2010, Jon joined Montgomery County Community College as a student. Jon Patrick later joined TEKsystems as a Telecom Project Coordinator, supporting a large telecom project by reviewing and researching active lines and providing recommendations. Jon then worked at Hotwire Communications LLC as a Technical Support Representative, assisting customers with billing, account services, ordering new services, and coordinating service dispatches.

At HighPoint Solutions, Jon served as a Service Desk Analyst, handling MSP customer inquiries and providing courteous and accurate assistance. Jon Patrick then joined Vanguard as a Technology Engineer, triaging incoming call center calls, assisting customers with Active Directory password resets, and troubleshooting mobile device issues.

Currently, Jon is working at Slipstream IT as an End User Services Engineer Tier 2. Jon Patrick'sresponsibilities include providing tier 1 and tier 2 support for all hardware and software incidents and requests, managing Active Directory and Office 365/Exchange, training and mentoring Tier 1 agents, and assisting SMEs and management with various tasks.

Throughout their career, Jon has consistently demonstrated their knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Jon Patrick Ruff started their education in 2011 at Montgomery County Community College, where they pursued a Cisco CCNA Certification. Jon Patrick completed this program in 2012. In 2016, they obtained a Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification from Cisco Systems. From 2016 to 2017, they attended Delaware County Community College, where they earned a Certificate in Network and System Administration/Administrator.
