Amanda Freeman

Amanda Freeman has a diverse work experience, beginning in 1998 when they started as a Vice President at the Intelligence Group. There, they specialized in Generation X & Generation Y market research, consulting, and trend forecasting. Amanda then moved up to a Senior Consultant performing a variety of qualitative and quantitative research. In 2003, Creative Artists Agency acquired the Intelligence Group and Amanda returned in the role of Vice President. Amanda worked with brands like Target, L'oreal, ESPN, and Cosmopolitan magazine to help them create products, services, and messaging that resonated with their young consumers. In 2007, Amanda Co-Founded and became the CEO of Vital Juice, a health and wellness daily e-newsletter. Having amassed over 250,000 subscribers in top-tier cities and growing at an annual rate of 150% a year, Amanda sold their stake in the company to Tasting Table in 2012. In 2011, Amanda founded and became the CEO of SLT (Strengthen Lengthen Tone), a fast growing boutique fitness studio business with 20 studios to-date and more in the works. North Castle Partners took a minority ownership stake in SLT in 2016. In 2018, Amanda became a Board Member for Thuzio and Co-Founder & CEO of Stretch*d. Amanda also serves as a Board Member for Jewish Life @ Duke University and an Angel Investor for Sage Insights Inc.

Amanda Freeman attended Harvard Business School from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, they attended Duke University from 1994 to 1997, earning a BA in Sociology.
